Poolside Retreat

The site was challenging because of the hill going down to the pool. The terraced beds were the answer. The client wanted lots of color and wanted to soften the walls. We did that with upright grasses and perennials and cascading plants. The terraced beds clearly define the pool area. The house is in the hills above Santa Fe and the pool looks out on the valley below.
